Fall Fashion Trends

Fur accents. faux fur on boots and booties.
My thoughts: Not hip to it. I'm not a fan of fur.

Plush Velvet: flats, boots, heels, and boat shoes.
My thoughts: Again, gross. Who really likes velvet?

Knit elements: chunky cable and ribbed material to heels, booties
My thoughts: this could be cute.

Glitter Effects: adding sparkle to platform heels and stilettos.
My thoughts: 1, it's not holiday, and 2, REALLY?!

Yep, shoes for fall look like a miss. :(

And what is this?!?!  --->
it's like, "slow down birkenstock, stick to what you're good at."

More Fall Fashions:
Key trends include crafty folkloric items, sleek biker gear and military-inspired looks. Silhouettes varied from body-conscious to relaxed. Key for the season are jeggings and form-fitting equestrian and motocross-inspired denim. Conversely, slouchy pants and cocoon-like knitwear continue to be important.
There was a continuation of classic heritage looks with plenty of plaid, shearling-trimmed vests and workwear inspiration. And from faux to fabulous, there will be plenty of fur on the street next season.

I'm digging:

 I'm still digging the Military style, even though it is pretty over done (understatement much?). I've always been obsessed with early 1900s and earlier military style, it's just so cool looking. Anyway, I could totally see myself wearing a trench coat like this.

These fleece leggings are by Rockstar. Oddly enough, the showroom I worked at in NYC repped this line. I got to model them a few times for clients in the showroom and i totally dig them. they're kind of like wearing tight, awesome looking sweatpants. sounds great.

such a different post for me, eh? my plan was to include my crazy life and fashion on here and i guess i'm finally doing it.
side note: i, very much so, hate the so-called word 'jeggings.' gah.
